I began to photograph myself as an experiment, just a test. I thought that it would be interesting to see how I reacted to the camera instead of seeing how other people reacted to me. I really didn’t know what I was looking for until I shot a few rolls and discovered, much to my dismay, that I probably revealed too much. I had turned the camera toward myself and in doing so I discovered my own vulnerability.
